Thanksgiving break was Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and the 23rd. Over Thanksgiving break students spent time with family and friends. Our diverse community celebrated the time off in different ways, some just slept and others were rushing around trying to please family members. A few of the students traveled and a few hosted at home. “It was short, but good.” – Amber Skavnak
Some spent time with family and friends, which may have included a special meal reflective of their family traditions. The most traditional thanksgiving meal is turkey, potatoes, stuffing and other delicious options. After their meal, some started their christmas shopping early with black friday sales, while others watched any or all of the football games. Overall, it was a successful break.
“ My Thanksgiving was very relaxing and I was happy to get it off of school!” – Bella Gust
