During the week of Jan. 15, the Burnsville community will have a no-name calling week, an effort to stop negativity and hatred in our community and replace it with kindness and support. No-name calling week is organized by GLSEN, an organization aimed to end bullying, discrimination and anything negative in K-12 schools across the United States.
In addition to this, you will see posters placed all over the school telling you ways on how you can help spread kindness and other ways you can help end negativity. Also, every time you see something positive happening, you are encouraged to use the hashtag #KindnessInAction to support the cause. I recommend all of you to spread kindness, support, and anything positive that happens here at BHS.
